On Thanksgiving, I was sick and in the bed most of the day. So, I am thankful for medicine that helped me to feel better...

November 24--I AM THANKFUL FOR...

I am thankful for great friends..

I am thankful for a GREAT field trip to Nashville....(I will post pictures later)...

I am thankful for a great day to go shopping with my grandmother...

I am thankful for GREAT movies... I have been watching Fireproof for the hundredth time...

I am thankful for the Saturday morning basketball. Andrew scored 2 points. Go Mustanges!

November 19--I AM THANKFUL FOR...

I am thankful for the color of the trees in the fall.

November 18--I AM THANKFUL FOR...

I am thankful for not having to cook supper....My mother-in-law invited us to eat with them...Yeah!
(ok..We are having ball practice four nights a week so I do not have time to cook.)

I am thankful for accomplishing goals. To one degree or another, I tend to follow through on things. I thrive on having goals to strive for and  I am happy about the fact I've been able to achieve them.

November 15--I AM THANKFUL FOR...

I am thankful for pest control companies that have learned how to handle pests....
Story---I was called to sub and when I arrived I saw at least 3 rats. The pest control man came and placed glue strips down. Before I left that day, we had caught one rat.
Thanks you, pest control man!

November 10---I AM THANKFUL FOR...

I am thankful for my grandmother. She is a good Christian woman whom I can talk to about anything. One of her incredible traits is she will try anything. This summer, she wanted to ride the inner tube. So, here are some pictures.

November 9--I AM THANKFUL FOR...

I am thankful for my grandfather. This is a hard topic for me to talk about because it still hurts so much. My grandfather was my greatest supporter through the good times and through the bad times. He was my rock. When he got sick, he showed his support though helping others. He went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2003. After his death, people told us how he helped them.

I love reading poems about grandfathers and I think of him every time I read one. This post is dedicated to my grandfather who comforted me when I needed him. He always put a smile on my face when I was sad or down. He loved Austin and Andrew so much. I miss him dearly. I hope I get to see him again one day.

November 8--I AM THANKFUL FOR...

I am thankful for Christmas Trees. Having a Christmas tree is a tradition associated with the celebration of Christmas. I have a lot of memories of going to Birmingham Farmers Market and selling Christmas trees with my Papa.

  I am thankful for our troops and their families. They sacrifice so much for us.

 

November 3, I AM THANKFUL FOR...

I am thankful for my family and especially my children. I am thankful for the smiles of my children, for the feel of their arms strangling my neck, for the trust I see in their eyes, for the peace I see in their faces when they sleep, for the joy in their faces when they play, for the simple fact that they are alive. Austin and Andrew, I love you!

Jamie is my best friend.  He's my #1 fan. From him, I get unconditional love and acceptance, and he always makes me feel like I'm special and liked. I'm the luckiest girl in the world for having found him.

Here is the first "round" of Menu Monday!

I decided I would start a weekly blog about what my menu will be for the week. I thought it would be fun.

Monday- Spaghetti/Salad/Baked Corn on the Cob/garlic bread

Tuesday- Steaks/French Fries/Baked Beans/Garlic and Cheese Biscuits

Wednesday- Salmon Patties/Mashed Potatoes/Peas/Biscuits

Thursday-Chicken Sandwiches/Tater Tots

Friday- Frozen Chicken Stew/Crackers/Cheese
